Winter Break

Here are a few pictures from our trip to northern Pennsylvania last week. Our friends the Brassells invited us to their brother's mountain house. It was a fun getaway. Good food, a warm fireplace and a nice hill for sledding.

Sam's Field Trip

A picture taken by a class mom during yesterday's field trip to see a play. Not the best picture in the world, but it does show the infamous Rocco in the blue coat directly in front of Sam. It also shows Ryan in the red coat. Ryan and Sam are best friends. Each of the boys is having to walk with their girl partner. Sam is with Shane in the fur hood.

Rose

For those addicted to blogs, you should add the Rose Family's blog to your favorites. They are much better at updating their blog and the content is always A+. The trick is to figure out which of them is writing any given blog. The Gullette family is blessed to know them. They just might be the coolest couple in NYC.

Baby Alive?

Well, Baby Alive's not so alive anymore. We've only had her since Christmas, and she just looks pathetic, bless her heart. I am not even sure how this happened. Sam says he didn't do it, so that must be true! She was one of the more popular toys with all the friends--feeding her and then waiting for the poop. I picked her up the other day while I was cleaning the kids room and just started laughing so hard. She is so scary looking. I think this picture makes her look much better than she does. She had no clothes on, her hair looks like it is thinning and so greasy (probably from some product Brooke put on her), and her cheek and chin are both ripped. Brookie said"uh oh, she needs a bandaid." Well we did not keep her. We put her in the Trash Chute to Heaven. She looked so disturbing, like Chuckie's baby sister, and I could not let Brooke and her friends play with a doll that looks like that. I told Brooke that she was not a good Mommy and she said "I know". Love, Christine

MLK Day

It's been a while. Sorry. All is good though. We took a road trip down to Philly a few weekends ago. Our friends, the Brassell's, invited us down to their annual family crab boil. We all had a great time. We checked into a nearby Sheraton with an indoor pool. It was in the upper teens outside, which made swimming really nice. Sam made great strides and is actually a swimmer now. We were so proud of him.
