Our big girl lost her tooth yesterday!
For weeks, Daddy's been asking her if she wants me to get it with the pliers. Yesterday, it was just dangling, so she let mommy pull it out.
We put it under her pillow last night. Weirdest thing....apparently there really is a tooth fairy. When we woke up this morning, the fairy had taken her tooth and left a note along with $10. In my day, I only got quarters. I guess with inflation and the cost of living in New York...probably makes sense.

How About Them Apples?
Yesterday we rented a car for the day and drove out to Northport, NY to go apple picking.
It was a beautiful day and the kids got a chance to run around and play.
Northport is on the north shore of Long Island, about an hour from our apartment. It is beautiful out there.

Friends
This is Jordan with Paloma. Paloma was in Jordan's kindergarten class, and they were so excited to find out they were in the same first grade class.
In the background is the madness of the first day--all the kids and parents hanging in the playground.

First Day, First Grade
Yesterday was the big day. Jordan has been counting down the days for a month.
First grade. The big time! The five of us made the trek across the street yesterday morning. We got to meet her teachers. They seem nice, and Jordan likes them.
We are so proud of Jordan. Based on what I can tell, she may be the smartest, prettiest, fastest, funniest, sweetest little girl in New York City.
